Doylestown Borough Zoning and Planning Department Information

The Department of Zoning and Planning consists of the Building Official / Zoning Officer, Code Enforcement Officers, a Construction Observation Engineer, and supporting staff. The department is responsible for enforcement of all Borough Codes and laws, except traffic, parking and criminal regulations, which the jurisdiction of the Police Department.

The Zoning & Planning Department reviews all plans and issues all permits and licenses. The department inspects new construction, renovations, additions, and existing properties for compliance with the Boroughs adopted codes.
