Conquering Cuisine, DOYLESTOWN; An incredible menu of seasonal ingredients matched with wine. Celebrate the warm weather of Spring with an Italian inspired menu that matches seasonal ingredients and preparations with wines that complement their flavor. The foods of Spring are full of fresh, bright flavor, often times with simpler recipes. The same can be said for the food of Italy. Well showcase five varietals from Tuscany and explain why each works well with the food being served.

    Menu: Swiss Chard, Caramelized Onion and Taleggio with Roasted Pepper Sauce; Sweet Pea Gnocchi with Mint, Lemon and Butter Sauce; Braised Lamb with Spring Vegetables and Pancetta Crumbs; Crostata with Lemon Curd, Fresh Strawerries and Whipped Cream.

    About the Class: Our wine pairing classes provide participants with a better understanding of how particular wines can enhance the flavors in different foods. In addition to tasting the selected pairings, the group will see how each of the dishes is prepared. As with our wine tastings, well cover the region and producer of each wine.
