It is our sad duty to inform you that in light of the ongoing public health emergency, the 2020 Doylestown Borough Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled. Given the importance of the parade to the community, it is not a decision we take lightly, but with the strong conviction that it is the best interests of the health and welfare of participants and spectators alike.

The Doylestown Memorial Day Parade is conducted annually for the sole purpose of honoring those American Veterans whose sacrifices in defense of our nation and its democratic ideals are responsible for the freedoms we enjoy today. In the coming weeks, we will be working to organize Memorial Day activities that fulfill this purpose while maintaining critical social distancing and thereby protecting the health of the community. Parade or no parade, Doylestown will honor its fallen heroes in 2020.
