The Doylestown Memorial Day Parade is conducted annually for the sole purpose of honoring those American Veterans whose sacrifices in defense of our nation and its democratic ideals are responsible for the freedoms we enjoy today. Having celebrated its 155th anniversary in 2023, it is one of the oldest Memorial Day Parades in the United States.
Following a flag-raising ceremony at War Memorial Field, the parade commences at Central Bucks West High School. It proceeds east along West Court Street, continues east on West State Street, heads north on Main Street, and concludes east on East Court Street at Doylestown Cemetery. The event culminates in a 30-minute memorial service, during which the United Veterans of Doylestown lay wreaths in honor of our fallen heroes.
If your organization is interested in participating in the Parade, you will find an Entry Registration Form and Parade Rules and Guidelines here: 2025 Memorial Day Parade Packet.
