The Doylestown Borough Water Department has started the second phase of its water meter system upgrade. During this phase, the Water Department will be upgrading the radio reading devices on each meter and, as a consequence, you may see Department Staff working on your property and around your neighborhood.

These devices are typically located on the outside of a building and used to obtain your water meter reading remotely. The upgrades will therefore not typically require us to enter a home or business. However, if it is determined that we must come inside to complete the upgrade, we will leave you a door hanger, asking you to schedule an appointment with us.

Please be advised that Water Department Staff has been directed not to enter a home or business, even upon invitation, other than through a scheduled appointment.
