ATTENTION DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH STUDENTS:

Doylestown Borough Council is seeking students aged 15-18 who reside in the Borough, are enrolled in an accredited high school program, and will be Sophomores or Juniors in May 2025 to apply for the opportunity to serve as student members of the following Boards or Commissions:

  • Fanny Chapman Pool Board
  • Historical and Architectural Review Board
  • Human Relations Commission
  • Park and Recreation Board
  • Shade Tree Commission

The term of office will be May 2025 through April 2026.

Council is also seeking a student who is a Borough resident in their junior or senior year of high school to serve as Junior Councilperson for a term of office during the school year, September 2025 through May 2026.

Evening meetings are held at least once a month and student members will be able to gain familiarity with local government operations while providing input on matters before the Borough. Student board members are not compensated.
