Robert Kinney (Bob) has been a Bucks County resident for twenty years, and a Doylestown Borough resident and homeowner since 2016. Bob has been a practicing attorney for over thirty years, beginning his law career with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. In 2008 Bob joined the New Jersey Attorney General’s office in Trenton where he was a trial lawyer in the Environmental Enforcement & Environmental Justice Section until July 2021. After leaving the Attorney General’s office Bob went into private practice with a small law firm where he practices in a variety of legal areas.

Originally from New England, Bob spent many of his formative years in Maine, from which he graduated high school and then attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Government with a History minor. Following college Bob was a VISTA Volunteer in Lincoln, Nebraska, and then a school teacher in Massachusetts before moving to Washington, D.C. to work on Capitol Hill. It was in D.C. where he met is beautiful wife, Kay. They have two wonderful adult children.

Bob is active in his church, where he sings in the choir and plays handbells. He is a long-time member and supporter of the Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and has appeared on stage in various roles. He has also directed G&S productions. He is a volunteer with the Coalition to Shelter & Support the Homeless in Bucks County. Bob loves the Red Sox and Phillies (in that order), and the Celtics and Sixers (in that order, too). He also loves the N.E. Patriots and Boston Bruins.
